Kobe Bryant, held by Spike Lee at the Oscars: “a Tribute, honor, tribute: we all missed”

The myth of Kobe Bryant was paid a tribute on the Oscars red carpet on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. It was Spike Lee wanting to do so, wearing a tuxedo the color purple and gold with the number “24” (the historic number of Kobe with the jersey of the Lakers) applied on the jacket. Spike Lee has always been a fan of basketball, and has enjoyed the talents of Bryant, so much so that in 2009 he directed the documentary “Kobe: Doin’ Work”, that extolled the proverbial work ethic of the star of the Lakers, who tragically died on the 26th of January in a helicopter accident.
